I moved to Australia from Tokyo in 2006, after graduating from Uni, started agility in 2010 with our Border collies & my partner Dean.
We self-studied agility and trained ourselves at the park by learning from Silvia Trkman’s online classes since 2011. We learned everything about agility and how to train tricks and agility dogs from her. We trained Running Contact since 2012 and did all her classes.
Since then, I’ve been strongly influenced by European agility and have been passionate about learning the finer details of agility and dog training. We went to watched AWC in Europe a few times, have been a regular attendee and organiser of international agility seminars to extend my knowledge.
Agility became big a part of my life when I was working at an architecture company as a designer. I started a small Agility equipment business in 2014 with the mission to be a part of the improvement process, and
successfully developed and introduced a range of new equipment with GALICAN to the Australia and Japan.
I have a huge passion for training technical skills and a running challenging courses with my dogs. I always studied dog lines and handlers movement, and this made me love designing training sequences and courses.
In April 2019, we moved to NSW and I became an agility judge in May 2021. As a judge I like designing and building a courses that have fast fluent line with various handling options. Besides agility, I love Music, Design, and Climbing mountains.
